TORONTO -- The New York Knicks dominated the Toronto Raptors 111-95 on Wednesday night, extending their winning streak to 12 games. This victory comes after the Knicks snapped the San Antonio Spurs' 11-game winning streak on Sunday. Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 26 points and 10 assists, while Karl-Anthony Towns contributed 21 points and 12 rebounds. OG Anunoby, Landry Shamet, Josh Hart, and Mikal Bridges also scored in double figures for New York.
The Knicks' victory marks their third 40-win season in the Eastern Conference, joining the Detroit Pistons and Boston Celtics. Brandon Ingram and RJ Barrett led the Raptors with 31 and 20 points, respectively, but Toronto lost its fourth straight game at home and dropped to 4-10 against Atlantic Division opponents. Scottie Barnes and Immanuel Quickley scored 14 and 13 points, respectively, for Toronto.
New York's 17 turnovers resulted in 22 points for Toronto, while the Raptors' 15 turnovers led to 17 points for the Knicks. The Knicks' reserves outscored Toronto's 26-8. Ingram had an impressive first quarter, scoring 16 points, one more than the rest of the Raptors combined. Toronto led 25-15 with 4:13 left in the first quarter, but the Knicks took control, trailing 68-58 at halftime.
The Raptors struggled from beyond the arc, making only 5 of 25 three-point attempts. Toronto's loss marks the 24th time they've allowed 110 points or more. The Knicks will host Oklahoma City on Wednesday, while the Raptors will travel to Minnesota on Thursday.
