While the true impact on Aussies' budgets is predicted to be felt in 10 days, people are already taking action. Aussies have been flocking to service stations across the country to stock up on petrol, as fuel prices are expected to skyrocket in the coming weeks.
Mr. Khoury urged people to use the My NRMA App to stay informed about the best prices and the "cheapest option." The NRMA reports that the average price for regular unleaded per litre across the country is as follows:
- Sydney: 209.5c
- Melbourne: 207.7c
- Brisbane: 210.2c
- Adelaide: 185.0c
- Perth: 189.1c
